This Fiber Art is not Latch Hook, but where Latch Hook, Punch Needle and Locker Hooking came from. Hand Hooked Rugs are a form of fiber art that can be traced back the Vikings and even further to the Egyptians. This was an early way of recycling old clothing and other materials to create something very useful. 85% of my work is made from recycled garments.

The Art of Painting Flowers with Pam Newell

Fill your work with light and energy and hone your skills, by painting your favorite flowers. In this intensive workshop learn to block in and capture the gesture and essence of this beautiful, but fleeting subject. Discover how light creates form and so much more!
The focus will be on fresh flowers in a still life. Or you may paint from your best garden photos.
Bring: your favorite still life objects and a vase, container, pitcher, draping cloths, frui
There will be an instructor demo and lots of individual attention. Lights, stands, backdrop stations and some props and flowers are provided. Painting from life is ideal, but if you wish to paint from your garden photos, you may. Photos are best if they are on an Ipad or computer.
