Raintree Camera Club

Their use of composition, natural light and post editing can be inspiring. The Raintree Camera Club is a long standing group of photographers from Henry County and the surrounding areas. This exhibit is from June 22nd to July 20th with the free reception on June 27th from 6 to 8 pm.
Two Dollar Tuesdays
Two Dollar Tuesdays is the longest running painting club in the AAHC. The members meet each Tuesday in the Shaffer Studio. The club is open to all AAHC members and the fee is $3. Wait! What?!? Why does Two Dollar Tuesdays cost three dollars? When the club first began, the fee was two dollars. Many years later, the members voted and decided to pay three dollars, but being huge fans of alliteration, they kept the old name. It just sounds better than Three Dollar Tuesdays. The exhibit is from July 27th until August 24th and the free reception is on Thursday, August 1st from 6 to 8 pm
54th Annual Fall Show
The Annual Fall Show is our member’s show. It began in 1965 on the front steps of the Courier Times. 54 years later, it has grown into a celebration of Indiana art featuring over 50 artists and displaying over 120 works of art. Our longest running show, it opens on September 7th and displays until October 19th. The free reception is on Thursday, September 12th from 6 to 8 pm. This is a non-juried show where all members are invited to participate. The Art Association, with the help of many local businesses and art lovers, award over $1400 in prize money for this exhibit.
The Permanent Collection
The Permanent Collection consists of artwork donated to the Art Association by its members. Every year our collection grows thanks to the generosity of our community. Each exhibit features everything that was donated to the Art Association the previous year and many favorites from the past. The exhibit begins on December 14th and runs through the second week of January. There is no reception for this exhibit.
Instead of a reception, be sure to attend our Martinis and Mistletoe fundraiser
